This has Girvin mountain bike forks, so technically this is the right thread:

I put it together several years back to ride on bicycle pub crawls.

It also won a bicycle show, which I can say has to be one of the most random things I've ever done in my life.

I contemplating calling around to see if any shops have a leftover/demo smuggler they need to get rid of. Demoed one earlier this year and still can’t get that thing out of my head.

On another note, does your screen name have any correlation to the Canfield Nimble 9? They will be releasing the 5th gen N9 early next year. That bike has also always been on my interest list.

Above is the sentinel, and the thing is a beast. It corners like no other bike i've built/ridden.

And yup! I've had 2 Nimble 9 frames i've built up over the years (typically SS) and they've always had a special place in my heart for being so freaking fun

Yea I knew yours was/is a sentinel. From what I’ve the smuggler is a similar beast is a smaller travel package. I know I dig it.

Sweet man. I’m thinking of preordering one. That or building up a chameleon, honzo, etc. Essentially a fun geo hardtail.

I like the Nimble’s because it’s a smaller company and they were one of the first that made a fun 29er hardtail (yelli screamy) also they look great and the company has always taken care of me with little issues.

    Speaking of fun :-D

I LOVE this bike, had it put together in 2015 and I have over 7300 mi on it. I've ridden swoopy/ smooth, rocky/ tech up and down and it handles whatever I throw at it. I'll choose this over my Santa Cruz 5010c every time just because it's so easy to ride.i-dXtVrzc-XL.jpg

The yelli is on my list too. Guess I thought it was more rowdy goof off type of bike while the Nimble was more of an all ‘rounder.
