    Our house in Virginia Beach, after Hurricane Bonnie in 1998...

    My mom rode out the storm by herself (I was at Grammy and Mr. P's in Pennsylvania and my dad was away for work), and luckily the house only lost power for a day or so; I'm sure the house lost a few shingles and had some minor cosmetic damage, but I don't my parents had to make any insurance claims. This was maybe a month after we moved in!

    I found the “Shark Science” playset at Walmart while shopping with my dad; Walmart’s inventory seems to consist entirely of cheap knockoff stuff.

    I honestly cannot stand Walmart for numerous reasons!

    Condos are perfect for most people. We are buying a house in Portland, I can’t rent I’m not big on paying others bills. If I didn’t have a family I would have a condo period. Have people take care of the outside while I pay for the inside stuff is okay by me.

    I don't like the idea of renting a house, condo, or apartment for the same reason I don't like the idea of leasing a car or truck; You're making monthly payments but you'll never own it!

    My dad gave me a Tacoma, so vehicle payments are one thing I don't think I'll have to worry about for close to a decade.
