    You probably won't like this, but the condos I've been looking at all have heat pumps...

    However, they are generally less than a thousand square feet and well-insulated, so it's not like using one or two heat pumps to heat a house that's over 2,000 square feet.

    @El Duderino

    I have never seen an apartment or condo complex around here with gas heat! :annoyed:

    There is one condo complex in Doylestown Borough where the units have central air and oil heat; This is one of those rare situations where a heat pump would be a good idea, as it would cut down on oil usage. Unfortunately, the condo association specifically prohibits the installation of heat pumps.

    Around here, you are lucky if you get a heat pump in your apartment or condo; My friend's apartment has electric baseboard heat, and it is so expensive to run that he heats the apartment exclusively with two of those heaters that look like fireplaces.

    Half the cost of a house, which means I'll be able to do fun stuff like going to Europe!

    Another favorite song of mine to crank in my Tacoma is "White Room" by Clapton's band Cream...

    One of my greatest pleasures in life is when somebody is playing some obnoxious bass-heavy song on their vehicle's weak factory system at a red light, and I crank up whatever classic rock I'm listening to and blow their system right out of their water!

    When i first started researching roof replacements it said the average person spends about $8,000 so I was very happy at 7. Thankfully only one single piece of wood needed replaced and I also got a new ceiling fan in the price too.

    You go to Victoria much? I went there with my parents in February 2001, and we stayed in the Empress. Do you know if the old Soviet submarine is still docked in the harbor there?

    In my area, you can get a 2-bedroom condo with central A/C for less than $200K!
