What was up with the Band?

 

The Station Nightclub fire, in Rhode Island in February 2003; The band's manager set off some pyrotechnics in a 1940s building with no sprinkler system!

The nightclub burned to the ground, 100 people including a band member died, and 230 people were injured! The band's manager, Daniel Biechele, did prison time for it!

Right, I remember when that happened.

 

That's back when the original band was still together. Frontman Jack Russell has left the original Great White to form Jack Russell's Great White, while the original Great White still tours on its own.

 

True, but I still love "Once Bitten Twice Shy"...

My favorite song ever!

 

Back in the 1980's when we went to the Arcade's they had Juke Boxes that played music videos, was pretty awesome.

I don't know if either of you have ever seen the original 1989 music video for Once Bitten Twice Shy, but Jack Russell holds up his fingers as if counting (once, twice...); One time I pulled into the parking lot of the CVS in 2015-2016 or so, with the windows down and that song blasting; There was a woman in a burgundy late 90s Lumina parked outside the CVS, and I pulled into the spot next to her. She immediately started doing the Jack Russle "finger counting" out her open window and grinned at me when we made eye contact. People just love that song! It sounds great on my stereo system, and I think it helps them relive their youth or something...

 

What do you think of this music streaming? I honestly prefer plugging my iPod into a USB port or AUX input and choosing from a playlist; I would say I fully transitioned from CDs to digital media (iPod) in 2008-2009 or so. The first car we ever owned that had an AUX input was my dad's 2008 Acura TL; The Pathfinder never had an iPod hookup of any kind, and with our 2004 Honda Odyssey I played my iPod through a car kit adapter in the van's tape player.

I heard Bob Seger for the first time in an early 1990s Chevy truck commercial; My dad has never been a big fan of Bob Seger so he never had any of his CDs. I have all of his greatest hits on my iPod though; I borrowed the CD from my best friend and burned it onto my iTunes back in like 2009!
