I should be good for a week or so.

Costco here has Handles of Weller SR too.

As for the Monkey Shoulder, I think the label with "The Original" is the new label (according to liquor store clerk anyway). They are the same though, batch 27.

This stuff is delicious, but in smaller doses as the maple flavor is a bit much. It also might very well be the easiest-drinking 90 proof, ever.

Was curious about that one. Good mixer or just a small sipper?

Just got it tonight, only had it neat so far. My guess is it would be tough to mix it with anything, as the maple flavor is so strong.
Edit: it does taste wonderful when blended with 1/3 Baker's 7yr.

I've had single barrel and small batch. Came highly recommended. @bvbull200 may have some batch numbers to look out for .

that stuff unquestionably punches above its weight. I'm not super experienced but of my 20 or so bottles of whiskey & bourbon that is hands down my best bang for buck. the small batch select.

also to note, that distillery group is so committed to the natural way that they have their grain suppliers, all non-GMO, protect their crops by buying the land around the farms. that's a reference to Monsanto's evil biz practices. i didn't know that until the Blanton's girl (my SIL) told me all about it just yesterday. i like Four Roses even a little more now.

Look for OBSV Single Barrel Select, it's really very good. Total Wine carries it. The OBSV is one of their mashbill recipes.

I’ve been a member of Makers Mark Ambassador club for a number of years. Around Christmas every year they send out a little token. One year it was cool MM wrapping paper last year it was MM socks (just wore them the other day) and this year they sent this (recreation of a window they have).
