Got my 3wt setup ready. Scored what looks to be a new orvis recon on flebay, then picked up a Redington rise on BF.

Can't wait to get it out on some creeks next summer chasing cutties. For now, more freezing my ass off and fishing in town.

Probably should have gone snowboarding instead.

Deer season is coming to an end soon. That means I’ll be back in the water soon. Sooner if I can tag out on a second buck...

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Finally got a fish this winter but couldn't get a great picture. But he is a healthy 14 inch brown.

Hell, at least you're fishing. And close to town. Must be freakin' nice. I gotta travel three hours to find a good fishing spot. Only been to Steamboat twice. And both times in the summer. Used to know the Sheriff out there some time ago.

Yeah, can't complain about fishing 5 minutes from home.

I have a public access about a couple blocks from my house too, but it's not as good.

I'd take that over the 15° and snow I was fishing in today.

Might be about time to call if for the season, and pull out the ice fishing gear.

Starting the year out right with a bike ride down to the local tailwaters and first fish on my new setup.

The same shit everyone else has.

My only fishin goal this year is to fish streamers more. I spend 90% of my time nymphing.

I recently bought a 7wt to force myself to throw big streamers more. Plus I’ve gotten more comfortable tying em.

Streamers are a close second behind dry flies for me. I love how you can cover so much water with em.

Only fish dries when I can chuck chubbies in the summer. Kinda addicted to nymphing.
