How do you clear a trac off and check engine light after installing a new camshaft sensor?

I don't think the crankshaft sensor was ever bad. I think it was the camshaft sensor.

Oh, I see. You're referencing the fsm.

 

There are 4 cam position sensors, one for each cam. There is 1 crank position sensor.

Bank 1 is RH, and has an intake and an exhaust camshaft.
Bank 2 is LH, and has an intake and an exhaust camshaft.

There is a sensor for each camshaft.

Bank 1 Intake: 90910-05061
Bank 1 Exhaust, Bank 2 Intake and Exhaust: 90910-05060
Crank: 90919-05098

If it's p0348 it's a circuit code. I could be wrong but it's most likely not the sensor. Have u done a visual inspection? Any mice in your area?

 

no mice, to cold in oregon lol. i will check the wiring though

 

I think it means the PCM isn't seeing the 12v return. Again, I could be way off base here. Turn the key on engine off and check for powers and grounds.

Compare it to one of the other sensors? As long as it's B1 exhaust or B2 intake / exhaust?

 

According to the code though, it's over voltage (4.7v). So maybe it is a bad sensor. Idk lol

 

It's a bad sensor as far as I can tell. Similar thing happened on my CR-V. The ECM faulted the CPS, I replaced it and it still faulted. I replaced it again with a different manufacturer's part and it worked.

That's not what a p0348 code is faulting though lol What did you say the P/N they gave you was?

 

Freaking idiots i told them i need a camshaft position sensor and i was getting a p0348 smh
