Back at it on another dead day. I shall be combing TW and making random posts. Forgive my incessant meanderings.

has anybody used one of these borescope tools or even have one ... something like this here
i have been trying to decide which is the best one suited to my purpose without having to spend several hundred dollars!
there are just SO MANY of them and hard to choose which would be the right one for the job

I have not used a wifi/smartphone scope, but I have used a couple cheap USB borescopes and they work just fine if you aren't looking for a ton of durability or great image quality. I can't remember the brand(s). When I'm looking for something new that no one I know has direct experience with, I use the review system. Something with thousands of reviews and still at least 4 starts. I'm not sure I would buy something with only 3 reviews without someone I know having vouched for it.

    Something like this:
    https://www.amazon.com/DEPSTECH-Wat...+borescope&qid=1577370375&s=industrial&sr=1-4

Almost 4k reviews and still a great rating. It's the same brand that you listed, but a different model. Which could mean good things for the model you listed.

image quality is key and recordability for records in lowlight situations

i am wondering if the blue led is as good for lighting things up like a halogen lamp is

If it's something you need for professional purposes and keeping record of very important things you may want to do some more research and spend a bit more coin. Could really make the difference depending on what you're using it for. I would hesitate to get something wireless because it add's a extra layer of complication and delay. As for quality, I have zero experience with either of those and I would expect anything in that price space is going to be of similar quality. Which is to say, decent but not great.

I’m sure @Cav_BluTRD has one and my guess is it is Milwaukee or snap on.

    group buy, pass it around?

i caught this booger on camera yesterday, and is one thing that would inspire me to get a new truck and not have to deal with this old age
if this is what is causing this past years bundle of problems

i think its to avoid confusion when they have to close it down for river flooding and alert motorists

880 isn’t new, it’s been there forever. They redid part of the road this year.

i never noticed the sign change before yesterday on the western side, used to always be 680, had they already changed the eastern side sign where it starts before this week? its been at least 2 months since i was that far east on 80
that's why the 'new' was in quotes lol

I need to find a spot locally, like day trip, that will let me create a trail or have fun on some property that isn't just drainage runs in fields. My Aunt and Uncle have a bunch of wooded property that I could go on in Maquoketa Iowa. But, my Uncle is a bit of a paranoid scrooge and won't let anyone else on the property. So I couldn't invite friends to enjoy it with me. Which is a bummer. But I may go up there in the near future anyway just to get my feet wet. It's mostly really easy trails that were used for logging on the property.

Yeah. Let’s find a property that lets us build a trail.

you up for some hardcore Iowa mudding right off of I-29 in the ditches?
since there has been near ZERO rain for over a month the once flooded fields are all mud now with the warmish weather.
    its probably not legal though...

I have a friend in Joy Illinois that has a shit load of property and access to even more. Mostly farm property but I think I may shoot him a message and see what he says. Joy is like an hour south of the Quad Cities.

I don't care about mud. I want more trail shit. I got my fill of mud over the years on ATV's.
