    interesting observation!

so the BS about the AT not knowing where the hell gear it should be is a non-issue or all just made up?

i looked at those just now, i had NO IDEA that stands could go up 30 inches, the ones i currently have are probably 1/3rd of that at max, so i am clueless :anonymous:

$200 for a set of 4 is not bad

 What I said was every gen has had its issues.

The OBVIOUS one and most serious being the Ball Joint Recall.

Sage advice. I bought a set of 12 tons years ago that have made a huge difference during big repair jobs like clutches and front end replacement projects.

I need to go start this morning over. Jay, there is NOTHING wrong with your truck. The recalls I cited were for 2002 and more than likely 2003-2004. For your year you can find that data HERE:
    https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/1997/TOYOTA/TACOMA/EXTENDED%2520CAB#recalls

while we are on the subject of recalls, 2019 - oooooooooohhhhhhh a label mistype! Geez. Just to be clear, the reason for including 2019 data is to show its still a well designed vehicle. Just go look at the new Ford trucks - see how many recalls they have and how serious some of them are.

i put in my VIN and this returned

0 Unrepaired Recalls associated with this VIN
What if my car isn't recalled now? Could it be recalled later?

Yes. Whether a manufacturer independently conducts a safety recall or NHTSA orders one, the manufacturer must file a public report describing the safety-related defect or noncompliance. Manufacturers are also required to notify owners by mail within 60 days of notifying NHTSA of a recall decision.

The load capacity seems like a good start for a 3rd gen Friday thread

"I CANT READ THE LABEL, DOES THAT MEAN I CAN INFINITELY LOAD MY TACO? AND CAN I RUN 35'S ON STOCK SUSPENSION? HELP!"

Dont forget "My trans shifts alot when highway cruising"

Stupid people wanted a Taco that got goodish gas mileage, then they complain about how the tranny shifts to achieve better mileage.

You'll learn to just let it go.:D I felt the inherent need to help as much as possible as well. And after repeated and repeated answering same questions daily or weekly, they're still asked and have been for months.
I feel bad cause I know you're wanting to help but it's beyond help. Don't waste your time homie:cool:

    This is the issue;

Everything's fine on your truck, especially your lenses/reflectors/etc.

Somewhere, somehow, at some point, someone posts that they have an issue with theirs or that there's a recall, and suddenly you assume your stuff is broken.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, or fuck with it.

If you would've never seen that post, you would've never questioned the integrity of your lights/lenses.
