Can we confirm 2019's are on the shit list of failing seals or was that the year they changes the part? My buddy has one and I warned him of my issue.

Looking at the old part, is it possible to scrape off the existing gasket, apply some silicone or a liquid gasket maker and reinstall it? It sure will save boat load of money.

I don't have the tools or experience to take my truck apart. I'm going to leave it for the day with a local body shop and he said they will do just that. Take the light off, clean it and add a new gasket/sealant and re install. Hell if the screws and nuts were on the outside i'd reseal it myself. Body shop quoted me $300 but said they might be able to do it quicker and keep the time down.

The TSB has the vin number range listed. Sometime after mid way 2018 it was corrected. My production date is 6/18 and my truck is affected (infected).
