That is why your Esab rep needs to get involved !! In most cases it is not extended .

Just think if it was $30,000.00 plus machine in limbo from the first time it was used for 9 months

So.... am I nuts to consider buying a plasma cutter off Amazon?
I had this same thing last year where I ended up with a bunch of amazon gift cards from the holidays. I bought a welder last year and have been super happy with it for my little chickenshit projects.
Now I want a plasma cutter  Seems I've heard some decent things about Lotos on here? I see them on Amazon.

I'm gonna try to sell my current one and buy the LT5000D. I just don't know about warranty from Amazon regarding this type of equipment.

How valuable/important do you think the non touch pilot arc is?

Plasma cutter gurus please chime in.
I've never used a pilot arc plasma. All I know is that you save on consumables.

I never used one that did not have a Pilot arc

I guess if you never used one you get used to what you have .

Really if I did not get mine for Free I doubt I would have one. I don`t do enough Aluminum or Stainless to need one

Pilot arc is great when cutting on dirty or material with paint. It burns through it to establish the cutting arc. It also helps Cutting through perforated metal.

I already submitted a claim for my current one, although it was under the extended protection plan from home cheapo ($25). They reimbursed what I payed for the machine plus I got to keep the machine, 100% functional. :D

Fabrication squares and campground fire pit grills.

I think when people are sitting home on the holidays, they make up excuses to spend money.

I don't mind. I spent 3 hours putting things together and get to pocket some respectable cash.IMG_20191227_155343.jpg IMG_20191227_155355.jpg

I wonder would those fire pit grills work inside ?

I think a indoor fire pit would be cool
