Nice truck Josh! Being young like you I know how hard it is to do mods to your truck with the limited amount of money we have that should be getting used on other things LOL. Nice build so far!!

Actually yes? Large washers or what on the underside. Any vibration at high speeds, that kind of stuff.

I'll be following the skid plate fab closely. The factory one seems weak to me.

I just drilled through the plastic and the thin metal piece under the bumper and bolted it on with a washer and nut. The hardware the Hella 500's came with. And it does vibrate but doesnt like flop around. Expected from a flimsy plastic bumper. :D And yea the stock skid is kinda weak and mine was rusting out so Im building my own. I welded on some mouting tabs today but thats all.

Wow, this is the most slowest build thread ever! Lol!! But as soon as I get over being busy and sick, I will finish my skidplate finally, and a few other things Iv been wanting to do (build a temporary light bar since my friend idled into my front bumper and pushed it in.) And I will get more pics up of a few mods Iv done and never posted up any pics of! So hopefully I feel better within the next day or two and I can start working on the Taco some more!!! Stay tuned... :D

Painted 3rd brake light useing the TOYOTA TACOMA emblem from the door and trimmed off the TACOMA part with a dremel. Also taped off the edges for more light.5vat7d_9e2326fa2412fbd4499ed86ee0820d4b365fe161.gif

Now just waiting on my 5100's and my rough country rear shocks (there just temporary untill I get some money for some Billies) :D

Trimmed up my bumper because Im building a light bar for my lights. I already got the light bar made, just gotta grind the welds a bit, bend it, make the mounts and paint it. Will have it on untill I buy my ARB when I have enough money.
