Do I was doing a clutch test I was at around 60 MPH and around 2200rpm in 5th I went WOT a quite a few times to see if my clutch was slipping but only a few seconds at a time did I cause any damage to my engine?? was not thinking about lugging the motor could damage it.

The clutch engages really high I thought it was a sign of worn clutch?

The clutches engage high on these trucks. Mine engages at the top half of the pedal travel.

If 2200rpm is lugging my engine is trashed.

I mean like your in 5th gear at 2200rpms and then you floor it you don’t accelerate very quick you lug it.

You cannot lug like the old days the electronic fuel injection actually prevents it.

By the same reasoning 6th gear at 30mph the throttle open won't dump fuel down like the old carb'd cars.

It's the 2.7, it doesn't accelerate fast, ever.
