Wanting to buy some new credits right now. How many are required for a new or different PCM, Is it still the 4?

I appreciate it, just like harassing @nd4spdbh. I’d have a hell of a time installing with my engine cage and don’t feel like cutting it apart quite yet.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
That’s right, I forgot about that. It always reminds me to build in breakaways now into my cages for just that reason.

I’ll add them when I need to pull something apart. Built it with an easy section to chop out and be able to pull anything.

Those replacing your PCM... How have you gone about resetting your immobilizer function after reflashing the VIN on the PCM?

All 2012-2015 users. Your attention please.

2009-2011 PCMs are virtually the same PCM pinout as later gen 2nd gen 12-15 models.

    Why does this matter?

Because as I'm sure a few of you have noticed, your SAI system is poorly built which could cause poor runnability limp issues out of the blue at the most inconvenient of times and a malfunction within one of its valves could cause something as severe as a fire.

All 12-15 owners are able to obtain a PCM either new or used from your local Toyota dealer or junkyard for a 2009-2011 model year and retrofit it into your truck. Fully plug and play.

This wickedly amazing discovery was by none other than @JustDSM and has been tested and confirmed good by myself as of today.

Computer all the way right is my 2011 replacement.

    EDIT:

This mod is pending all good. I took it for a spin and noticed that one of the gauge needles is inactive. This mod works, however, all those wanting to do a full delete the legal way I advise to wait until we can iron out the kinks. I got JustDSM hard at work on it.

A minor hiccup in a MONUMENTAL find!

So no need to burn credits on a sai delete? Just throw the pump over the fence and plug in an 09-11 ecm?
