Running black rhino with 285 70 17 -12 off set i did not have to trim. i did add a 3 front 2 rear level kit though

 

Love mine.

 

Love my mgm sr5, removed the sr5 badges on the rear doors, and changed out the tscoma badges to black.... next is color matched bumper shells and remove the 4x4 and v6 badges

Love my 2017 SR5 4x4!

I lightly tapped a tree and destroyed my rear bumper this summer and that got me started modifying my truck.

Decided I needed a lift for large tires and went with the 2” ARB OME BP-51 lift with HD Dakar leaf pack and added a set of BFG AT KO2 285/70/17’s.

 

Here's a pic of the 2020 SR5 rims. From my local dealership's web site. Same as my 2017 rims but darker.

 

That looks really good. I like this design much better than the black alloy wheels but prefer the darker color of the alloys.

The only thing you need from a TRD is the rear locker. Everything else is MickeyMouse bull shit that needs to be replaced anyways (even a trd pros shocks must be tossed out for proper 2.5” resi shocks).

 

If the wonderful and festive people of Mexico hosted a “best Tacoma ever” competition, you would definitely win 1st place .

 

I really like those seats. Much better than the colors/design in the 20 OR/Sport

 

I had a gen 1 & 2 SR5 now I have a 2019 gen 3 Off Road - only reasons I spent more $ was the locker and I liked the black fender flare - the other stuff I do not care about

 

The TRD PRO, and TRD offroad come with the larger rear diffs 8.75" vs the 8" in the 4 bangers/SR5's/sport... it's a bit stronger when going to higher gear ratios.. such as the recommended 4.88, and 5.29 final drive gear ratios.. the downside is that the electronic stock locker is not a favorite due to its locking nature (requires wheel spin/turn to engage in forward, and when you shift to reverse requires almost a half wheel turn to re-engage the locker, same for going forward again.. see video of this here... https://youtu.be/1nYZo--7Xh4

Still on the fence about a locker setup, been considering a rear ARB air locker and a re-gear, but still thinking about it. i did install a sso bumper and smittybilt winch back in Nov.
