In my 10 months of ownership (today marks the day) finally, I was able to put in 15 gallons.

I barely reach the 12 gallon mark every fill up.

We're used to the 3.60 to 4.60 fluctuations here in CA.

Funny thing is I'd fill up the Corvette as often as I'd fill up the Tacoma.

Good question, no the light was not on.

I can't let the light come on even if I forced myself to; I always fill up right at quarter tank.

I was but an ass hair away from the light though LOL

Best I could find so far (all the vendors have that min quantity). Going to check a few places in the morning. For 38 bucks I should just use t-taps (hate those things). Splicing my cap brake light into the connector. Figured I'd do it clean vs those crappy vampire taps.

    upload_2019-12-27_21-36-26.jpg

has to be some vendor out there that doesn't charge a min quantity or min price... Waytek wire is usually pretty good but they don't have it. TTI is another good source but also no stock.

Honestly for connections like your doing I cut the wire and use a butt splice without covering on it and use my own heatshrink.
It’s how Toyota does junctions from
The factory If they don’t do it at the connector

What connector do you need? I had @mechanicjon contact Yazaki corporate to source me the power door kick panel connectors, but they require you to buy in bulk - plus my connectors were discontinued when the 2nd Gen ended in 2015.

Its the taillight connector. Didn't want to snip and splice but better than those bloody t-taps.

Go buy a Curt 4-pin Tacoma trailer harness. It gives you an entire jumper harness to build off of.

unless I'm looking at the wrong curt 4-pins, that's almost as much as ordering those terminals in bulk. I'll do another check - thx.

As OCD as I am, I'm bad about that. The gas light comes on and its nerve wracking to think of what sediment is being sucked off the near bone dry tank... hahaha

You have two filters that keep that from being a concern

yeah I have a new taillight. I wanted to pull the terminal out of the connector, snip it off and add-in my lead for the cap brake light. Crimp, reinsert into connector - poof, done. I'm going to just snip and splice. screw it.
