    2016 Tacoma TRD off-road
Hello everyone, I have a 2016 Tacoma TRD off-road currently with a 3 inch lift on 33s. I’m wanting to lift it a little more maybe to a 4 or 5 inch and don’t know which lift to go with. It’s used mainly as my daily but I do like to take it off road a bit. I’m not looking for an all out off-road lift but something that can handle it when I want to go. I’m not looking to spend a fortune but I do know it’s going to be a little pricey. If I could get suggestions on which lifts, maybe different heights, staying where I’m at now, open for anything! Thanks!

4" and over that, are going to be a drop bracket lift (Frame cutting/cross member) If that's the way you want to go, look at BDS.

What kind of 3 inch lift do you have now?

Body lift with 35s and call it a day if you only want a 4-5" lift. Not worth all the added cost/maintenance for 4-5" lift.

I have ran most companies. Zone, Rough Country, Pro Comp, and BDS are some good choices. They all have there pros and cons. Before you get all caught up in here with the crap people are going to talk go look at the FJ forums and the 6" rough country lift threads and see what they put those things through. It will give you that grain of salt needed before you read everyone's 2c on Tacoma world. BDS would be my first choice given the budget though, I just wish I could run a 17" wheel with it.

Here is the thread I started that has a couple pictures of people with a 6" lift. Your options are pretty much 4" or 6" when going above 3". There may be others, but those are the main sizes offered.
