    If it had less than 100K, I was ready to just trade mine for it straight up!

    The one thing that disconcerted me is while driving, it popped out of first seemingly on its own while I was driving in the parking lot and made a grinding noise. I took it out on Route 202 (which is quite busy) and it performed flawlessly.

    How much would that cost? It only did it once, so I'm not terribly worried; I can't think of any other reason for the grinding noise though...

    When I am driving a stick shift, I am OCD about making sure the clutch pedal is pushed in!

    You can probably find a manual gearbox in a junkyard in good shape, they don't usually wear out so fast unless they suffered abuse.
