    Hi All Happy New Year!!

I am about to buy a taco, I have been lurking on these forums and I think its time for me to buy one.

I plan to buy the TRD off -road version , will help when I go tubing and for resale

I have some questions, if you guys don't mind.

    1. I like the long travel look, but to be honest I don't really do all that I work a lot and don't have the time to go off-roading and I have never done it before. Is there any way to get that look instead of installing all that for just the look? They aren't cheap , hopefully I will go off-road one day after I buy it

    2. I am also thinking fo the McNeil 3" front and Beds, does the wheel wheel retain that plastic to keep dirt and gravel out?

    Thank you for the advice!!

Isn't long travel require a lot of maintenance like greasing and oiling parts? They are like 5K a kit right

Its easy to say but wait for the 21 model. Ive heard rumors of a new suspension and a couple new powertrain options.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
If by new powertrain you mean another gear on the auto tranny and no manual option then yes, I agree.

If you mean hybrid, diesel, FI, or V8 then no way Jose.

I am pretty sure you can get a good deal buying a 2020 around this time, as most if not all dealers are trying to move the 2020 out to make room for the 2021.. I am not sure the changes on the 2021 models are worth the cash you can save getting a 2020...

I will say I like my 2020 off-road picked up end of nov 2019. But I will say driving from cow town to anc with 32” the gears need to be replaced.
