Anyone running the 5100 Bilstein adjustable shocks with the original Toyota coil springs? If so, how does it ride??? Thanks..

i have this setup on a first gen so it may be a bit different for yours. my experience is that it's a bit stiffer than the OE (i have mine set to maximum lift ~2.5"), but not annoying at all. it handles more like a truck (in a good way).

the first gen 5100's dont have a 1.75 setting like the second gens.

for first gen 5100's you have 3 choices, 0, 1.25, and then 2.5.

    for 2nd gen 5100's have 4 choices, 0, .85, 1.75, and then 2.5.

EDIT: im a dumbass, thought OP had a first gen

I thought you couldn't run these shocks at 2.5 without problems

Running them at 2.5 can mess up your caster, which you would need new UCA's to fix. It's kind of a toss up. seems like some folks run aftermarket UCA's at 2.5" and some don't
