Good time for a drive on the mountain.

 

We got a ton of snowfall in the mountains down here this week. Gonna...maybe...hit up a local trail tomorrow. After the 7 hr drive today I'm not really feeling it, but when I wake up in the AM I know that itch will want to be scratched.

either nature is going to give my area a break from the devastation we had last winter or it is just the calm before the major winter storm

I wonder if washing the truck with salt away (used for flushing boats and skis from salt water) might help...glad I dont have to deal with the salted roads.

 

been battling it for 1/4 century now!
this is what it looks like after they smother the roads for just an inch of snow that melts and freezes at night, then water evaporates but the salt remains on the road until the rains come to wash it away, it took 3wks to do so this month
