it is very unlikely that i will find next to new alloy wheels with no weight marks in 15" that were no longer equipped on tacos when they switched to 16"
    but IDK
if you happen across something please feel free to point it out

i am looking into getting them refinished at a local shop, but not sure what they do to remove the marks or if they can

You'd be surprised - the feedback from most of our customers has been "I wish I had done this mod sooner" and "this is by far the best mod I've done to my truck".

The struts make opening the hood super easy with just one hand, and the extra height gives you tons of extra access and lighting.

Do you have an LKQ in your area? I bought a wheel from them for an I30 some years ago and it looked like a new wheel. I guess it all depends on the donor and if they polish the wheels. But this wheel looked better than the others.

Also, there are mobile wheel service companies that go around to car dealers and do wheel refurbishment at the lot. I had a set of wheels refurbished by one of those mobile services over 10 years ago that still look great.

Fair enough - most folks here mod their trucks not to simply replace something that breaks, but to improve their trucks :). But to each their own .

A few weeks ago I had found a site selling the 555 LBJs for about 65$ I can’t find it anywhere now. Not sure why I didn’t save the site. Anyone bought some at a good price recently?

A lot of that preference is actually individual when it comes to foot comfort. Back when I was in the mountains every weekend I'd use a liner sock under my smart wool socks.... BUT for work I find a sock liner and then good old cotton tube socks but ONLY the gold toe white cotton tube socks or their colored ones too. But you want cotton or half cotton blend with polyester is good too. My gold toe tube socks I've had for prolly 10 years and they still have a full and sturdy sole in them
Try different combos if you're trying to find less pain or whatev.
And if you're feet are already comfy and not a problem for you just get the gold toe cotton or cotton blend tube socks. Thick cotton soles and comfy all day for me
