My first wife was like that, I traded her in for a 7 year newer model...life is now good.

Just take her off-roading with you. My wife thought skid plates were dumb until I was dragging rocks.

    Why spoil a good trip?

That's like bringing the wife to the gym to work out together.

You should borrow your testicles from time to time. You know - just to see if they still fit.

I’m so lucky to have a wife that supports / approves me modding the truck. Hell she has even sent me links on products and tells me I should get for the truck.

Its a happy medium, I still take care of her and get her what she wants and needs.

Sliders are next in my list and I kind of feel bad because she’s 4’8” and she likes the steps I have now. But she wants me to get the sliders and be happy too.

Maybe not. It has not been clarified yet. OP may be a stay at home dad and the wife makes all the money. We do not have enough details to pass judgement.

Consider it insurance if you do any offroading at all. I went on a fairly casual winter wheeling trip one year; and heading down a small winding hill I caught a small dip that slid me into a tree. Did damage to my front fender first (which wouldn't have been avoided); but while trying to drive off of it, caught my rocker and my rear cab... with sliders, I would have been able to of pushed off of it, and the worst of my damage would have been just the fender, and perhaps a little bit of touch up paint on the sliders; but instead it turned into a fairly expensive repair (fender, rocker, rear door, rear cab body, part of the bed). Sad thing is, I had sliders on order at the time, they just hadn't arrived yet. :(

It could be the credit card companies money.

43% of Americans spend more than they receive each month borrow and use credit cards to finance the shortfall. (Federal Reserve)

And then if they get a refund come tax time, they don't use that to pay down the debt. The cycle continues.
