I suggest getting SS bolts from your local nut and bolt shop. The ones I got were not from China.

That may be true using old style LED bulbs. I have had Hikari hi-low for nearly 2 years. Would buy again. Super bright. Aimed correctly they do not blind people. Much much much better than Halogen in stock housings. Don't listen to BS. These are awesome.

I installed the same 1 1/4" set on my Tacoma. They will be the same as the OEM studs although I suggest not using the OEM locking nuts. I found when I torqued the OEM locking nuts they blew out the end and damaged the threads. I purchased longer locking nuts after I repaired the threads.

correct. the width is in inches.. To convert in milometers you would need to multiply the value by 6.35 i think??

Thanks for the heads up... What torque spec did you use when torquing the locking nuts??? i torqued them at 90 foot pounds and it was ok..

Got around to installing my @Baja Designs SAE Amber Fogs. Just hoping my Black Friday rebate still works since the SAEs were put on hold. Drove around last night with the headlights off... these are crazy bright! 20191228_162453.jpg 20191228_162502.jpg 20191228_214333.jpg

Amen to that. Worked my way through the trade from the late 1970's. Retired from that trade years ago. Next thing you know I have a machine shop in my garage. Old machinists never die but the trade seems to be dying. Now someone that can push buttons on a cnc machine are considered machinists. When I started out the first thing I did was hand grind turning and acme threading tools, out of 1" tool steel, on a bench grinder. Now you simply change carbide inserts.

Torque is not for the nut but for the stud/bolt. Toyota manual says 83 lb/ft. More than that is what cause bolt/stud stretch or fatigue.
