I hope I can drill and extract the mangled one out without ruining the threads. Maybe I'll experiment by removing the ones from the 2002 in yard. Its been raining so much here lately that one will be very wet for a while. Also, the windshield drivers door windows were broken so there is glass all over the interior.

The stupid grab handles are one of the few interior items that are installed from the factory with loctite. They never want to come loose easily and everyone strips the JIS fastener. I used an oversized #3 bit and an impact screwdriver and that worked on one. Might be a hail mary

Oh yea. I saw Timmah's video on removing them. Its a pain. Looks like the PO or somebody tried to remove mine, mangled them up, and gave up. I've got a #3 driver socket that I filed down the tip to remove corroded JIS screws that might work. I think this is going to require some surgery to get some of these out.

    Pffft...2wd locked ftw

I'll make it a priority to get the transfer case and transmission in the next few months.

I feel once l grab the diff Tyler's holding on for me, I may just buy new axles and get the whole front end swapped in place.

Truck stuff, beer, and camp, sounds too good to be true, Miguel might flake.

Naw the front diff I have has 4.10 to match the rear.

My issue is, now I want 33s after seeing Ryan's truck. I'm on 32s.

But really, j shift transfer case and transmission are priority.

I remember, but like I said above, in the next few months.

I've had the new apartment for almost a month now (rent coming up) and I haven't stayed in it a single night :anonymous:

Have to rent out the house already but still have too many firearms in it.

If I didn't buy a new bed, or winch, or bumper, I'd have my 4x4 swap done already.............
