    Id say its Moroccan rosewater of some sort...similar items keep coming up. in Cobalt and amethyst. Could be silver or silver plate.

    Interesting thread @WileECoyote thanks for posting. I've also watched that infamous digging show Oak Island and it always surprised me how shallow alot of targets were found.

    I hate that show...lol they never really find anything of significance. I want to see a vault of gold bars, coins, jewelry etc...not some nick knacks.

    4 sure. 10% of the episodes have the goods. While the others are just the hunt. What I always ask is though how these guys fund this venture? And how these guys that help can work for free?

    some said they have $$ in Oil or something, I dont really follow them. But Im sure they get paid decent from History channel or whoever is funding the show.

    this is something I have always wanted to do. I will have to start at the beginning and do some reading. I don't know anything about it or what detector is a good one to start with.
