No kidding. I think they limit it to 60 vehicles. I hear there are a couple of last minute cancellations. Those events sell out in like 3 hours.

Gonna get a more portable camera that isn't my expensive dslr to carry around with me on trips lol. I need to get one anyway for when the kid gets here so I don't have potato pictures of her in the beginning

I bet it will be like that. They go all out. They have some communication company to issue everybody on the trip a walkie talkie so they are all on the same channel for communication.

They have a trip coming up this summer that is a 3-day camping trip.

Listen to this: They are having Outback Steakhouse provide and prepare all of the food at the different camp sites along the way so nobody gets sick on the trail.

 

Some of these better point and shoot cameras cost as much as an entry level or even mid level DSLR, it's crazy. Might as well just pick up a used Canon 5DmarkII for cheap

Yeah for Christmas of '17...I got my SO one of those Sony A6000 mirrorless cameras.

The pictures I took with that thing were fucking nice but like you said, we didn't always take it everywhere with us. I had a DSLR as well but i gave that thing away years ago.
