Which S&B did you go with? Any check engine light issues? I am trying a post MAF intake tube made out of HDPE and a k&N air filter. Going to use the stock air box and hopefully i have no more issues with the MAF sensor triggering the check engine light.

Going to be ordering OVtune once i get my year end bonus. cant come soon enough

Here is the one I installed.

I think the closed airbox is what makes a big difference and it looks like the S&B is a HDBE tube rather than aluminum which can hold more heat. I just get why i was able to drive 9k miles without any issues and the error would only trigger is i was on cruise control pulling uphill at like 2800 RPMs. tried a aftermarket MAF too and didnt work. I Had the K&N Black Hawk 71-9039

I attribute my MPG gains to the tunes. The first 1500 miles were lack luster in MPG. Right at the first tune was when I saw a marked improvement.

Intake heating really only happens with heat soak in FI intercoolers due to lower velocities and surface area. For our intake, the air isn't in there long enough to be affected by engine heat or materials. Drawing cold air from the fender and moving through a huge airbox are the biggest details here.

Any update on a final 2.0 release date?

I’m rather underwhelmed with the current 2.0 after many many miles. Just no fun. I miss 1.05 performance but can’t go back because of the dump tubes pulling codes. Feel like this thread is dead when it comes to new information on 2.0.

Still would love a 5.29 tune, and ect back too.

Did you miss all the comments ovtune has made in the last few posts. The guy broke his arm and cannot finalize/finish 2.0 for a few weeks now. Go back n read through the pages.

Has anybody tried the 2.0 beta on a 2020 yet? I’m about 400miles deep on the Factory tune and can definitely say it’s much better than what the 2019 Factory tune was for sure.

I wish us 2019 guys could do that but we had the dreaded brake override malfunctions until 2.0 dropped. I’m still on 19770 for 04B31 and I love it except for first gear tip in. 19800 was underwhelming for me. I may go back and try the OLE tune again. It sounds like a lot has been worked on for the official 2.0 drop. I am optimistic. Mat does great work.
