    Hello Everyone,

I joined the TW club about a month ago when researching for a new truck. At the time I was driving a 2003 Dodge Dakota, which I regretfully owned for 4 years. I purchased a 2009 Tacoma DC LB 4x4 in black on October 3, and it was the best vechicle decision that I've made. I was and still am so excited to get an average of 19-20 mpg city for a TRUCK. I'll be honest researching "real-world" mpg was the main reason that I joined TW a month ago. Almost 100 posts later, I find myself needing to properly intoduce myself and newly waxed truck w/ pics. So here goes it:

Hi, my name is Ed K. from Pittsburgh, PA. I was born in Bedford, PA and moved to Pittsburgh 8 years ago for college and have been here ever since. Before and during that time, I joined the U.S. Army reserves for our country, my duty, college, and mainly because I was "going down a bad road". Joining the military is the best thing that I've done for myself, but as a career it wasn't for me. I went to Pittsburgh Technical Institute for computer networking and later to Duquesne for Leadership and I.T. I currently work as a I.T. Manager for a medium sized construction company that operates out of Pittsburgh.

I live with my Fiancee and Dog Stormy. Stormy is a 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, still "my baby girl". We just bought a newer house in March of this year. I was sick and tired of renting, waste of money IMO. It's got just enough space in the garage for my new truck. :D

Buying another truck was a hard decision for me, since I drive 80 mile round trip to work each day. From all of my outdoor hobbies to my job, my life simply dictates that I have a truck. I have only 1400 miles on her now, and I can already tell that it's the best truck that I've ever owned.

Thanks to TW members for helping me w/ my decision!

    Ed

How did you know. :D That's funny. I should edit my into to say that I love to eat. I was meeting a friend there for lunch yesterday. The pizza is awesome. I believe the owner are straight out of Italy cause the speak very broken english. They have a greek pie w/ gyro meat and feta cheese that's the bomb-digity.

Isn't that the best part of cooking? Well, that and eating your masterpiece. When I really spend the time to cook, it's funny to see people say "wow you cooked that".

Not Italian, but like spaghetti. Kinda embaced the nickname it as a youngster. With a name like Eddie, I've heard it all. Full name is Edward, but people like to call me various Eddie's:

    Spaghetti Eddie
    Sweaty Eddie
    Fast Eddie
    Slow Eddie
    Ready Eddie
    SGT Sweaty

    I just think it's funny.

You better believe it! First off they never should have started the game knowing the forecast. But to call it in the middle of the inning after the Rays tied it up was what really ticked people off. They should've let the Phillies have their at-bat then called it if they wanted to. Oh well, hopefully we'll still get a championship.....we've sure been waiting long enough! :)

You're wish has been granted. The Phillies are as close to a real home team as I got. We've got the Pirates out here, they're freakin most loosing seasons record.

Yeah, but at ;east you have the Steelers. I'm an Eagles fan, but have come to realize they're never going to win anything as long as Andy Reid is with them.
