I have a 2005 tacoma 4 cylinder with 281300 miles on it My radiator started leaking today on my way home filled the resivor to make it home the temperature stayed normal then i went to stop at a stop light and the engine just died on me and then wouldnt start. Got it towed home and an hour later the truck started right up. Any ideas what this could be.

You filled the reservoir and not the radiator.
Didn’t help the situation one bit.
The temp around the coolant sensor was ok but maybe not so good with the rest of the motor.
    Does not sound good.
