    check out Kettle House Brewing and Big Sky Brewing.
    And you gotta go to Rockin Rudy's just for the experience

    Yeah, we came up through Eastern Idaho, and were in Butte last night. We're here until Tuesday morning when we head over to CDA for two nights.
    We're planning on scoping out the outskirts of town, but would certainly be open to meeting some locals. I thought @OneGiraffe posted in an MT thread, but apparently just the Idaho thread, and this trip snuck up on me, so I also spaced it. We met up with @Nunya Bizness a few nights ago and have some other potential TW people to meet up with in Northern Idaho.

    This is a 10-day road-trip for us, and we're mostly scouting for a relocation. We plan on heading back up in my truck in the summer, once the Drifter is on, and I've re-geared; that trip will be more about exploring trails, but also confirming areas we see in this trip.

    If you have the time check out the Seeley Swan Valley to the NE. Beautiful area, quickly becoming one of my favorite places to camp in the summer and fall
    Or head down SW towards Lolo and Hamilton.
    Nice smaller towns. Not sure how far you'll make it into the woods but there are plenty of farm access roads that criscross the valley down there
