Diamond back cover fitment

Will a Diamond back bed cover for a gen 3 fit a gen 2? I found a good deal on one.

 

I asked diamondback the same question and they responeded with a resounding NO due to the difference with the top of the fenders measurements. Feel free to ask them yourself before buying.

 

Thanks for the reply, I sent them a message today but figured I'd get a faster response here. I may just go try it and confirm. I'll update on here if it's a go or no go in real world.
