Some preliminary base kit results.
More tuning still needed, as you can see there is some torque loss from the torque converter unlocking
Very happy so far, and exactly what we are aiming for with low end torque

Note, this run has a 5 percent correction, result is vs stock.

Locking vs unlocked torque converter makes a huge difference in power. Unlocked this thing soaks up so much torque.

FYI we are at full boost at that 1400 rpm.

I think I came a wee bit.

 

I literally can't fathom how you'll keep the tires from breaking free. Worst thing about switching to a truck has been dealing with driving on the street with an open diff.

 

Turbo kits ship with one deluxe pair of ovtune underwear cuz you’ll need to change them after driving lol

Have there been any results on the supercharger?

Yes turbos are nice but I'm still worried about them being undermounted and exploding during a cold water crossing.

 

They are not under-mount anymore. Mat worked out a slick top mount setup.

 

They haven't been undermounted for months...

 

changed to top mount. go back a catch up a bit. no mounting issues now.

But theres been a bunch of posts about it, even photos of the top mount system on his website.
Start around page 248 for videos of him driving his truck with the new kit.

The turbos are now top mounted, so unless you’re crossing a water crossing that’s about the height of your hood, you’ll be fine

 

Alrighty we have full lock all the way from 1300 RPM to the limit
torque is nice and flat.
