My serpentine belt took a chit

    The Toyota branded Bando belt is definitely a different looking belt than the plain Bando, despite having the Bando name and model number on it. As was stated earlier, Toyota holds manufacturers to higher standards if the Toyota name goes on it.

    Wish I saw this thread before yesterday! I just replaced all three idler pulleys and the tension pulley (Gates and Febest), then put on a Gates belt. It shredded today just like the OP's. My #2 Idler up above the tension pulley looks the same as OP. I guess it doesn't need the washer on the back side...? I have no idea, but my original pulleys seemed ok, so I guess I'll put them back on.
