    4WD error is fixed after some reassembly and making sure the connectors were making contact with the chip.

    @MESO have you ever thought of eliminating the shifter boot? Design a flat plate that has the shifter route cut out. This would allow aftermarket shift knobs that wouldn't rely on the boot holder.

    Everyone can weigh in on the "interest". Feel free to say it's a stupid idea. I'm not completely sold on the idea. Execution would be the key.

    The 4x4 switch was finicky... not hard. Could have used an extra set of hands. One side would snap back together when I tried to unclip the other side.

    I don't know if I "unclipped" the start ring or just broke it apart.

    Assembly was mindless.

    I had same issue but finally got it work after looking at notches over an over and slightly bend/move tab/s around a little aswell

    I am trying a small dab of super glue and a clamp to see if that works keeping it flush. I don't plan on changing it out ever again so that might do just fine for me.
