TOOLBOX.jpg I sold my Snap On tool cart and a Bench Box and decided on this. But I think I should have gone with the 46" instead sine I am out of room again LOL.

Its the 14.5 side box. It hangs off the 26" just like the others. You just have to drill the holes in the 26" lower the 14.5 already has them and comes with all the hardware.

Gotcha. I have the same size cabinet/chest combo. I, also, have a similarly sized Husky cabinet/chest that was overflowing. I bought the HF box before I moved to get everything in a toolbox. I really wish the HF box had deeper drawers. If the short drawers were 50% deeper, it would be a lot more useful, even with fewer drawers to keep it the same height.

Do you have the Series 2 26" Roller and Top Chest? The Series 2 has the deeper drawers.

My father in law was over yesterday for Christmas and told me he recently started going through his tools and is gonna get rid of a bunch of stuff he has doubles of. So I may have some cheap/free tools coming my way pretty soon!

Funny how it works add another box it is filled in no time.

I like my 26" boxes I myself don`t care for those huge boxes you need a Fork lift or crane to load

I was going to go with Craftsman 300 series toolbox set. Saw the Kobalt at Lowes and fell in love with it. Originally the set was $800, bought it for $600 weeks later then saw it went down to $500 a couple weeks ago. I went into Lowes to get reimbursed for the $100. All worked out and is awesome.

The real test is when it is loaded and how well everything works 10 years down the road

I had to head into town, so I swung by Home Depot to take advantage of their free tool deal that they've been running since before Black Friday. I picked up a couple more batteries and picked the brushless jigsaw as my free tool.

That's good to know. I have a collection of Ryobi tools that have been serving me well. I wish the charger that came with the new batteries was the same style as the one that I already have, but that's just me being OCD.

Mine is at least 10 years old and a bit bigger. It’s been moved several times and even road a boat to HI and back. Fully loaded for every move (8 moves) and never had an issue.

I was sick of the cable sitting on the ground taking up space when not in use.

Bought myself a Christmas gift! Loving the box so far and it hold all my tools. Now if i can get my MIL's furniture out of my garage I can get my work bench built.

Ok. So I didn’t see another thread that I though would be a good place to ask. This is kinda tool related.

Any one build or buy a place to drill store and charge cordless drills? Looking at something that can hold maybe 4 drills, 2 chargers, a place to store extra batteries.

If you have something what do you like or dislike about it? Would you change anything?

something kinda like this. Pic is just to give idea about what I’m talking about.
