Good for you!!!!! Congrats!!! I'm STILL resentful about my former Mrs pulling the plug on me for one of those back in 2004. "No, you can't have it!" I had already made the deal, had $$ for down payment, good credit, but she had the truck (it was hers). She said "If you buy that thing good luck towing it anywhere since I won't do it. Good luck getting it home or anywhere else!" She also told me I didn't "deserve" the all-new 2005 Mustang GT convertible I wanted.

That Mustang is still in my garage right now.

My wife asked me why I would trade for an older motorcycle, then she got on the cruiser and there were no further questions.

My wife was the one who suggested we get the '20 Pro instead of a '20 OR with Prem/Adv Tech since the prices were so close. I'm terrible with money, she's in school for her MBA. I trust her financial judgement (raised my credit score from low 400 to nearly 800) and ask if we're good before major purchases. We do this thing we like to call "communication".

As an aside, I'd love to have the confidence like that one guy to make a claim with no source and then dispute when fact-supported counter-arguments are made. What a stud.

Slider save in the wally world parking lot. This could have been a lot worse, and was a hit and run to boot.

FWIW, these are SOS Off Road Concepts sliders.

My GS 650 has "a" rock slider, so my Tacoma probably should also, I figure.

I thought that was buckled than I realized it’s a weld seam. Interesting that it’s designed that way.

The morning my truck died in the driveway, I went back inside and told my wife I was going to buy a new truck.

"Well OK, what do you want for dinner tonight?"

Family dynamics really started to change when (predominantly) males relinquished the title "breadwinner" and two income families became a thing.

I don't expect most members of TW to get this comment btw...

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Somewhere in between is where we all live. But my wife is a business partner and a friend. I don't wish for the "old days" of ordering her around like a pet. I enjoy she can make decisions without asking me for permissions, because her sister is in that kind of relationship with her husband, and while you may feel in control, the rest of the family and the world thinks you're just a jerk.

My wife and I BOTH have sliders because we wheel both vehicles. That's the solution btw, get her invested in the success of your build and what you and her can do together with it.
