Split CV boots?

    The issue isn’t that there’s a hole. The issue is that dirt can get inside. Even if you seal the hole, your CV might still go bad since it was compromised and dirt might have gotten inside.

    -Bilstein+OME suspension, ARB bumper w/Smittybuilt XRC winch, Aero exhaust, CMC, oddball size 275/70R17 General Grabber ATXs on 17x8 0 offset Pro Comp wheels, etc.
    I only drove on pavement while it had the hole in it, and that hole was small enough I doubt it got any dirt in there. It was barely spitting out 1/2mm balls of grease, and didn't even make much of a mess. If it does give me problems though I'm just going to replace the whole axle.
