Shipping will suck, but TAP (Toyota auto parts) Recycling in Rancho Cordova, CA used to be my go-to. They had everything Toyota.

I’ve never looked into an East Coast Toyota recycler though

He was interested but he is trying to prioritize suspension first I believe. And after the video and pics I saw of his last outing, also a second gen silver door haha.

Right...I figured someone would have been next in line pretty fast. I've only had them a couple days so I'm not too worried about them finding a new home.

    F'in CL people...
I posted those sliders on CL for $250 knowing people will try to beat me down on price. I just got an email from someone that said this:

"Hi, just want to wish you good luck selling your rock sliders for $250; I just bought a used set for $100 and I laugh when I see how much you are asking "

WTF.. No interest in them, just felt they needed to take the time out of their life to tell me this. I'm sure this guy is a real joy to be around. And if you are on this forum and it was you that sent me this message, I hope you stub your town on your bed frame everyday for the next 17 years!

That's what I immediately thought also. Or it's some back yard builder who fab'd them up from the frame of his kids trampoline and sold them to this guy.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Let me know.

I think they're comparing them to step bars. When I sold my N-Fab style bars to a local guy, he asked why I was getting rid of them. I told him I was swapping for rock sliders and he gave me this odd look of confusion and asked why in the world I'd need something beefier than these 3" tube steps.

Even the most generic step bars on CL are selling for more than $100 at least. Most of the nicer ones like the predator ones people ask $3-400. I guess I just don't understand some people's logic and never will.
