    Can the dealer do this?

    What is the cost?

Am I holding my head right? For wheel size not regearing, right? Because wheel revolutions via ABS

Dealer cannot do this. Aftermarket parts only.

You would need a hypertech speedometer calibrator. They run for about $230

Pretty sure they don't make one for 2019.

I almost never recommend rough country, but they sell this as well and I believe it's cheaper. It's the same thing and uses the same software to program it.

I used rough country part 90043. I'd check to make sure it's good for the 2019s though.

    Definitely no they don't.

    Direct from Hypertech:

    "
    Paul,

At the current time we do not yet have a tire corrector product completed for your vehicle application.

We do not have an estimated time frame for potential completion

I will add your info into our product request data base so you will be notified if and when we do have testing completed.

    Thank You,

    GW"

I guess there is NO way to correct the speedo/ODO? That's just stupid.

@OVTune mentioned he found code to do it in the ecu a while back but I don’t know what ever transpired with that. There was talk of being able to do custom tuning and tire size adjustments being an option

So it's like a smart dealer COULD do it if Toyota had instructions. Thanks!

No. OV can because he cracked the ECU. Dealers don't have that ability.

I might as well throw this out there. I have found that the speedo calibration is different than the odo calibration. As it stands now on my Taco with 31.7in dia tires (14/32in new tread depth), my speedo has a 2.0% to 2.5% error, while the odo has a 5.0% error when compared to GPS over a distance. That difference will stay proportional as the tire wears.

On that, with 2/32in of tread left (at the wear bars), there will be a 2.5% change. So, the speedo will read accurately with worn tires.

    Fun stuff.

Curious, what GPS was used? Also, why is your speedo off 2.0%-2.5%? It shouldn't be a range and if you've measured with a GPS, you should be able to say exactly what it's off.

You didn't really read what I wrote. They COULD if Toyota provided support.
