It’s not cheap at his shop, think he charged me $120 to do an alignment. Had me wait like a week too.

Considering it's 85 plus tax at my usual shop, I'd say if he adjusts my upper control arms if needed then it's worth the extra cost. But ive never been. I just have a hunch that one of my control arms is on the wrong setting.

Might try a local 4 wheel parts. You should be able to drive there with no real harm to the tires

I still don't know what adjustment you guys are talking about. I've found the adjustable UCAs, but where are the adjustments? Is it at the ball joint?

Correct! The ball joint can slide back and forth for adjustment.

And the ball joint can be moved toward the front/rear of the truck to adjust caster but I just maxed out positive caster (toward the front of the truck) so that I didn't have any clearance issues.

Meat nachos sound great. Anyone here every turned an NFA item back to a regular firearm? You have to send the stamp to ATF, but when can you sell the gun afterward?

POF MP5. Had it sold to an FBI agent, but ATF never approved it, so I've been holding onto it. Never shoot it so I'd rather be rid of it.

I don’t mean to bash his business but alignment is not straight and I’ve got feathering on my drivers tires That’s pretty obvious too. From my experience SW alignment is an overall better alignment shop.

If your wondering I only went there bc I had a gift card and to adjust my Bilstein 6112s, SPC ucas, and alignment

Damn I was pretty dead set on them just because of all the modified Toyotas they do and the good reviews

Don’t get me wrong. A lot of ppl swear by his work but maybe it was because I paid with a gift card (he raffled out at jambo to a guy and I bought off him for 70% off). I don’t wheel my truck and have less than 1 oil change and the feathering is kinda bad. But I’ve never experienced that at SW alignment with the 3 alignments I’ve gotten there (I’ve gone though a lot of suspension changes... spacers>5100>now 6112).

Also wanna state that it took the guy 2 DAYS to just adjust front Bilsteins... and I scheduled it weeks before. Guy doesn’t tell me it’s gonna take him 48 HOURS until the day Im scheduled. So I had to rent a car for those 2 day’s.

Damn that's quite a bit and I got quoted 90$ at SW vs the 120 or Dougs

You’re gonna have to wait like a week to get your truck in and then wait like 5 hours for him just to do the alignment.

it’ll take like 2 hours max at SW. and they don’t mind showing you what they did. As with duggy, I feel like he doesn’t even want u looking over his shoulder or even in his shop

I like the owner personally and I don’t like to get into stuff over business cause there’s always 2 sides but, that does sound like a bad deal and sorry you experienced that.

Just talked to a tech at SW Alignment said it’d be 160 vs the 120 at Doug’s hmm
