    '14 MGM DCSB Postrunner 4wd Conversion, Debadged
    This is a common problem dating back at least to early 2nd gen years. The electronic control system is very finicky. When I did my 4wd conversion, I used an FJ Cruiser manual t-case so I didn’t have to deal with the electronics. Shifts into 4wd every time.

    Well, the logic is sound. If you drive through water deep enough to break something, it was too deep. The alternative is Toyota saying "don't drive through water"

    I was sitting down eating my lunch and a group of 4 jeeps came up and crossed the stream. Then a group of 3 motorcycle crossed it. When I was ready to leave a Jeep and Tacoma crossed. All with out a problem. That’s when I decided to cross it.

    You realize that failure and effects analysis, fault tree analysis, are methods of quality control, right not “bean counter” work which would be profitability and cost to benefit analysis. You seem like a dolt.

    Let us know what the dealer says. You should of taken it to a mod friendly dealer. I believe Tustin Toyota was installing King Suspension lifts on Tacomas at some point.
