    Well.....no. Still got 12guage, 22LR, 30-30 and 30-06. I guess it's hopeless, need a bigger safe.

    I know what you mean. My caliber collection is 9 mm, .45 ACP, .30-06, .30-30, .300 Blackout, .38/.357, .22 LR, 12 gauge, .223/5.56, and .50 cal.

I got rid of all but one of my WW2 rifles awhile ago, and I got rid of 7.62x54R, .30 Carbine, and 7.5 Swiss when I did. I got rid of my .308 Win before I left VA, but I want to build an AR-10 or get a bolt action in either .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor. Unfortunately, no one makes a lefthand 6.5 CM bolt action from what I can tell, so it'd have to be a custom order if I decide to go that route.

    You boys are lightweights ;) ... I shoot 22 LR, 380, 9mm, 12, 20, 28 ga, 410 and 223/5.56

    And shoot and handload 38 Spl, 357 Mag, 44 Special, 44 Magnum, 45 ACP, 45 Colt, 500 S&W Mag, 300 BLK, 30-30, 308, 338 Win Mag, 32-40, 458 SOCOM and 45-70

I’m going to have to part ways with some of the heavier recoiling long guns, in favor of my surgically repaired neck.

I used to cast my own pistol bullets and reload everything I shot except shotgun and muzzleloader rounds, but that was when I was living in NM and shot NRA High Power or USPSA matches almost every weekend.

I left NM in 2016 and never found anywhere to go target shooting or compete in Virginia that wasn't 2 hr away or indoors, and I'm not an indoor range fan. I'm having the same problem here in AR. I was spoiled in NM. It was 20 minutes to the range, and I could shoot it to almost 600 yards. It wasn't unusual that I'd be the only one there, and I didn't have to deal with any BS rules like no drawing from a holster and only 1 rd per second.

Happy 2020, TW peeps! Hate to tell ya Pete, mud might be hard to avoid. My truck has stayed muddy. I think car wash coin is a new mod anymore. Might wanna change that reso to avoiding, when possible...

Speaking of, I'll know tomorrow if weekend plans are gonna come together. Lots of rain over next 2 days so if your reso is no mud, then you might wanna stay home :D

We lived in Utah for 3 years so I know what you mean. I’ve always been a member of a gun club except for those years in Utah. I’m a member of MVSA near Hot Springs if you ever want to come up. It’s the nicest range complex of any I’ve ever been to, short of the Whittington Center. Benton has a nice gun club too, not sure what’s available in south Arkansas.

I have never cast my own bullets. Had a friend in Texas who did and I helped him cast and size bullets a few times. I’ve always used commercial cast bullets, Matt’s Bullets makes some of best I’ve ever seen. He’s in northern springs Arkansas someplace. But his bullets are a bit pricey. I’ve probably got enough ammo and components to last the rest of my life (I’ll be 60 soon). I need to do some more consolidation of calibers too. I’ve already culled ...

2020's the year of the 300 blackout pistol build for me. That and being a better pistol shooter are my priorities. I built a 556 pistol last year, and I think I'm ready to try building something a bit nicer now that I know what I like. Range time will have to be in my future to improve my handgun skills. Repetition and rounds down range. :bananadance: Maybe a class or two?:infantry:
