Just make sure you daily it and park as close to the store doors so the ass end is hanging halfway out into the road like every other person with a dualie. o and make sure to get a drop hitch and leave it in all the time too. :)

    But joking aside...nice truck!

I don't think so. Last time I heard @NorthwestCruiser went there and someone had been messing with the entrance making it more difficult and something about a po'd neighbor :notsure:. I've only been there once, I already forgot how to get to the spot. My key did work at the powerline gates tho.

Looking for some real world experience opinions on a Smittybilt X20 10k vs a 9.5k XRC and synthetic vs steel line. The only experience I’ve had with a winch is my 8274 that’s on my 96’ and I’m sure it’s different animal all together.

I used both of those and the x20 10k lb is better at least for me it is
It’s set up for wireless controller looks a little better and smaller and I like synthetic rope More then cable
I used the x20 like 6-8 times and works like a champ in sand in mud and snow

Speed wise they are both pretty similar if I remember right but the xrc had like 1 or .5hp more then the x20 and the xrc felt heavier
But it’s been like 2 years now sense I compared two side by side So I can’t really remember

the most I ran the x20 is for like 3-5 min at a time to get myself or others out of a hole I heard some winches over heat so far mine hasn’t

I put them both through some test both did good but I likes the synthetic rope and wireless and the look of the x20 better I think that’s the only reason I went it

You have to be careful with synthetic line, you’ll heat up and damage the line probably before you hit the max duty cycle. I think it suggests a minute of cool down for every 15 feet pulled in
