    My oem wiper blades ice up pretty bad during the winter (and are two years old) so now I'm leaning towards replacing with beam style blades... What are the favorites under $25?

    I just picked some Michelins up from costco for $8.99 a pop. Used them in heavy snow and rain last week any they worked great. I can't say how long they'll hold up, but for $8.99, not bad.

    I have Rain-X. They work fine but flex when wiping which annoys me .

    I haven't actually used those yet, but some guys at work swear by them, and I'll try them next wiper change.

    Currently I'm using overpriced Rainex Silicone beam wipers, which are way not worth their price (Auto one), and there's no way I'd recommend them to anyone. I have them on for two weeks, and already they're not wiping top 3/4"... Also, while driving highway speeds, they tend to drag water behind on returning stroke.


    Edit:
    I bought Aero wipers, they behave slightly worse than overpriced Rainex. NOT WORTH IT!

    Thanks. We head to Costco pretty often so I'll check out the Michelins.

    That's what I'm afraid of. I have wiper OCD when it comes to coverage and chatter... I'll be saving the oem blades so that I can buy refills if the beams don't perform well. I read some pretty good review about silicone wipers, so I'm surprised to hear those ones aren't doing well.

    Unfortunately living in the Lake Erie snow belt is causing me to have to reach out and smack the blades quite a bit.
    My wife's Honda Pilot has hybrid blades and they seem pretty good, but my Toyota blades freeze up constantly.

    So I ended up buying these overpriced Michelin silicone blades today. I'll report back how they do.

    Update... The Michelin Endurance Silicone blades are not that great.
    Seem pretty good in the slushy freezing weather, but the driver's blade smears a little bit on the return swipe.
    Not worth the $20/ea. As many mentioned, the OEM refills are likely the way to go...

    I put Valeo First wipers on both of my vehicles and they are terrible. Chatter and squeak, seems like they press way too hard in the glass.

    I put on one Bosch winter blade and one Rain-X silicone blade on my Tacoma last November to see which one was better. They have been through rain, ice, and snow. The Bosch blade is good. The Rain-X was pricier and wipes fine but the latch that holds it to the wiper arm pops open.
