Thanks for the info guys. I’ve been in the research cave for a little while on them reading all the specs and derivatives, but that doesn’t mean shit in the real world. I’m probably gonna go with the steel X20 for now because I got a spare roller fairlead and my bumper came with a spare hawse. This summer I could respool my 8274 with the cable and switch to synthetic on the X20. My buddy abandoned his Nissan wheeler thing out back with a Badlands winch that melted down on it that’s 3/4 way spooled out with the cable ratchet strapped to the hood. Lol, I don’t want to go down that road.... ever.

Get the new gen 3 Smittybilt. It isn’t wireless, but it does have the most powerful motor and fastest line speed on the market. Synthetic over steel all day everyday!
Has a bunch of new convenience features that makes you just look at all other winches and go “why the ef didn’t they do that before!?” Has a little light that lights up the line as you’re reeling it in so you can actually see it at night, remote has a load rating, magnetic to put on truck while reassessing, flashlight, and an extra positive battery terminal connection at the top of the winch controller box.

The big difference with the x20 (other than wireless) is that the brake is moved to the end, rather than inside the drum. Makes it not heat the line up like crazy.

Hmm... gen 3 in steel is only $10 more than an X20 steel on Amazon. Damn it, I had it narrowed down earlier.

Just pulled the trigger on a x20 10k steel for $340 tax & shipping included off EBay. The gen 3 would be sweet but so is the $255 I saved. Thanks for the input guys.

Retrax One XR retractable tonneau for 2005-15 short bed. https://retrax.com/retraxone-xr
This is the matte polycarbonate version, not the aluminum version. This one has the side rails that accept Thule, Yakima and other cross bars and accessories. $1400 new, looking for $500.

    IMG_1681.jpg

OEM Toyota bed mat for 2005-15 short bed. $40? **SOLD**
Buy the Retrax, and I'll throw it in for free (if I still have it...)
    IMG_1679.jpg

    Random bits and pieces:
Bolt Dropper rail mounts in stainless (4 pack) + 2 random rail mounts - $10 **SOLD**
    IMG_1685.jpg

    IMG_1686.jpg
Accessory mount for rails with 2 quick fists each (4 fists total) - $10 **SOLD**
includes the rail mounting nuts too.
    IMG_1688.jpg

OEM Rail tie downs - $5 each or all 4 for $15. **SOLD**
    IMG_1682.jpg

OEM bed extender. NO MOUNTING POINTS though, I screwed up and forgot to pull them off the truck. Probably because this thing has been hanging there for a few years now, not being used. Free.
    IMG_1683.jpg

I can ship any of this except the bed extender, but it's on your dime. Yes, I have the boxes to ship the tonneau cover, but it requires 3 boxes and will probably cost $200 to ship....

TWEX might be an option on Thursday 1/9, as I'll be heading down to Clackamas that day for a meeting.

I actually plan to head out later at night and see which drive thru's I might still be able to use......:anonymous:

How old is that lathe? I used a similar one years back when I worked in a heavy equipment diesel shop.

    Old equipment is so legit!

Oldest serial number list I have fount says the last machine made in 1920 was #465, and this one is #395.My guess is 1916 or 17. Assuming it can be brought up to snuff, it's big enough to do basically anything automotive related. Links, wheels, drums and rotors, probably even flywheels.

I really want to take a set of F5s and turn them into double beadlocks.
