Another great pic. The readout on the grill says 200, then below that says 0.70f. Whats up with that?

200 is what the smoker is set to

70 and climbing is the current temp (plus the lid is open also)

Have the lid open trying to heat the deck :anonymous: And take pictures...

If your looking you ain't cooking or so I have heard. Spent a small fortune on Lithium Ion extreme temperature batteries for the outdoor sensor and the damn thing just died after less than a month and it hasn't been below zero often yet. Not sure how cold it is right now. But I have no hat or gloves on, jacket unzipped. Damn been here too long...

Next week will be the 24th year since I retied from the Navy. Joined on Dec. 7th but there was some "bad" time had to make up for retirement. But was worth it, I think. Yep, 2 young ladies from Tn. at Daytona Beach for a couple of weeks, hell it was the 70's. And worth it.

When I went to Mast the XO said I was unreliable and needed to be busted. The Master Chief interrupted him to say Sir I believe there are 2 witnesses from Tn. that would disagree with Petty Officer "June Bug" being unreliable. They both busted a gut trying not to laugh out loud in front of me. But still busted me and was the right call.

This guy was in NUC School same time as me and we hunt phez in SD along with some other retired Navy guys.

Think he is German? He says I should have gotten a medal instead of getting busted.

Damn I have turned into a lightweight, don't drink that much. But feeling pretty damn decent right now. Time to sauce the little smokies. Think I put the smoke into the smokies.

Soooo I’ve began looking at pellet poopers...

Honestly where should I begin my search? Any brands to 100% stay away from? Won’t give up on my WSM or Barrel smoker, but I’d like the ability to set it and forget it or something the wife can use a little easier

I typically like winter, not @Cold Iron winter but my Deep South, occasion dusting of snow type of winter. I can’t deal with it any more, fuck that shit. Not sure if getting older or a good deal of weight loss, maybe both? I found this pic of my brother and I. Then one from last football season.

Honestly, if you can find the $179 Pitt Boss like some folks have here, try that. Get your feet wet, so to speak.

Definitely keep the wsm. I got my pitboss early this year and I still have my 26” weber kettle. Trying to add a used weber performer when I see a good local deal

Really depends on your budget and the size that you want. Do you want WiFi and all
    The fancy bells and whistles?

Check what kind of warranty they offer etc.
