I pick up what everyone is putting down.. I’ll hang back quite a ways away from the snow and be more safe for a solo/beginner trip. Anywhere, anyone can recommend me at this time of the year near me?

Only 454 I'll ever have in a truck. Coleman model 454 utility stove, November 1929, my 911 stove as dating type changed by Coleman on most stoves lanterns every 10 years, year either first number(s) or last. Used it last at Masonic, down by Bridgeport, Bodie. Incorrect grate, but most are missing. A little under 300 made for 1929. Made for less than 10 years. Heavy sucker.
I collect old stoves and lanterns if you ever run across any. Some I have are over 100 yo.
Ok, my rant for the month.

And, finally, on this last trip of 2019 I was able to talk the wifey into attending her first TW organized trip. Sadly, it might have been the last, as well. Got sideways on Wentworth Springs Rd, just after Icehouse Rd, on our way back to Georgetown. There was a fair amount of hysteria from the passenger side after that event, though I must say, I handled the slide like a boss. The hysteria, not so much. :D

In her defense, she didn't panic that much. It happened too fast. Exaggerated for effect.
