Happy New Year! I like capturing milestones also. But damn its cold there!!

 

There are bright spots on the bumper, in front of the plate, but otherwise no real difference. Will try to take a pic tonight.

 

Just turn OFF your headlights when in reverse. Plate lights will be extinguished.

Did the same this summer. Don't forget to turn up the brightness on your back up camera so it doesn't bleach out at night.

 

The ones i used are great. No issues at all. But i didn't use the exact same product.

 

Did a TinyMod and didn't even need an instruction video tutorial.

 

I've got some red 194 led bulbs that I bought to use in the third brake light, but didn't use.

Hmmm . . . I wonder what red license plate lights would look like.

Wow. I like the look with the wind damn removed. Curious if it effects handling or cooling.

The charger cord path lines up with the notch in the tray. He nailed it (just not sure if he did it "in one" or it took a couple of tries).

I must've installed mine backwards too.

 

The air dam is for aerodynamics and has zero affect on handling or cooling. As to loss of MPG, if you do A LOT of highway driving there might be a little drop off. Maybe 1/2 mpg. You'll notice if you study the specs, a equally equipped OR (no air dam) vs a Sport (with air dam) list the same EPA mileage quotes.

I'll add, if you do remove the air dam, the truck will "cry" for a better skid plate.
