    I have been looking underneath the dash area. I will be installing the OEM cruise control soon and I was looking where the clutch switch plugs in. While I was there, I have found three plugs which were just taped not leading anywhere... Since I have the base model Tacoma without any switches on the left side of the steering wheel, could these be plugs for those switches?

    This is what loaded Tacoma's left side of steering wheel looks like;

    Now mind I dont have ANY of those switches...

    These are the plugs, I found behind the fuse box...

    Any input would be great!

    Thanks,

    Tony

    usually they do one wiring system, your truck is prob wired for things that you didn't opt for when purchasing the truck

    That's what I figured. I was wondering if anyone knows what specifically these plugs are for...

    Yeah, I need to upload some pictures of the half-dozen or so plugs I found under my dash in that location. I'm pretty sure one of them is a trailer wiring harness, and one is a brake controller...I'm wondering if I install the fuse and relay (both spaces have all of the contacts, just no fuse or relay) whether the brake controller would be fully functional...

    Please do! Maybe some fully loaded Taco could be so kind and show us the rear ends of the buttons, so we could match these plugs up?

    I think that one is for the trailer brake controller to plug into...the one peeking around the harness with your fingers on
